What Does It Mean to Be an Invisalign Diamond Provider?
Invisalign provider tiers explained: why choosing a Diamond Top 1% orthodontist in the Portland–Vancouver area can lead to better, more predictable aligner results.
By Dr. Gabriela Aranda, orthodontist ·

Invisalign provider levels, explained
Any dentist can complete a short course and begin offering Invisalign. To help patients understand experience, Align Technology groups providers into tiers based on how many patients they treat each year. Levels progress from Bronze and Silver through Gold, Platinum and Diamond, with Diamond representing the very highest case volume.
Harmony Orthodontics treats more than 300 Invisalign cases annually, placing our doctors in the Diamond tier — roughly the top 1% of providers in North America.
Why case volume matters
Clear aligners are only as good as the treatment plan behind them. Invisalign software creates an initial plan, but an experienced orthodontist adjusts every tooth movement, attachment and timing step. Doctors who treat hundreds of cases a year have seen how teeth actually respond, which leads to fewer refinements and more predictable results.
High-volume providers are also more comfortable treating complex cases — deep bites, rotations and crossbites — with aligners rather than defaulting to braces.
Orthodontist vs. general dentist
Orthodontists complete two to three additional years of full-time residency focused entirely on tooth movement and bite correction. Both Dr. Gaby and Dr. Hardin completed their orthodontic training at Oregon Health & Science University. Combined with Diamond-level Invisalign experience, that specialty training helps you get a healthy bite — not just straighter front teeth.
