Do braces hurt?
Getting braces on doesn’t hurt. Teeth may feel sore for a few days after placement and adjustments; soft foods and an over-the-counter pain reliever usually help.
How long will I need braces?
Most patients wear braces 12–24 months depending on how much movement is needed. Your doctor will give you a time estimate at your free exam.
What foods should I avoid with braces?
Avoid hard, sticky and chewy foods like popcorn, hard candy, gum, caramel and ice. We give every patient a full care guide.
Do you offer clear braces?
Yes. Tooth-colored ceramic braces are available for patients who want a more discreet look with the control of traditional braces.
